Shotgun Level 2 is an intermediate-level shotgun training program designed to elevate defensive shotgun skills. This course provides a comprehensive approach to defensive shotgun shooting, incorporating timed drills and advanced loading techniques.

Course Objectives

Course Content

SL2 covers a range of topics, including:

* **Defensive Shotgun Drills: Students will engage in timed drills engaging multiple targets.
* **Loading Techniques: Participants will learn and practice advanced loading techniques, including speed loading, tactical loading, and emergency loading.
* **Situational Awareness: Emphasis is placed on developing situational awareness and recognizing potential threats. Students will learn to scan their surroundings, identify potential hazards, and respond appropriately.
* **Safety and Handling: Safety is paramount throughout the course. Students will receive thorough instruction on safe shotgun handling, storage, and maintenance.

SL2 is conducted on a private range in a relaxed and stress-free environment. The course typically consists of:

• Live Fire of up to 200 rounds.

• First Aid Kit w/ tourniquet 

• Eye Protection

• Hearing Protection

• Functioning Shotgun

• Factory Loaded Ammunition

• Shotgun Sling- Preferably a two point

• Food and Drink - NO ALCOHOL

• Open Mind

• Positive Attitude

• Chair

• Shooting Mat

• Gloves

• Rag / towel

*COURSE FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE.

*Student can be dismissed / ejected / removed from the range for jeopardizing the safety of others and self, unruly unsafe behavior, being under the influence of legal or illegal substances, acting in a belligerent / threatening manner towards anyone on the range.  Dismissal / Ejection / Removal will be reported to the respective range management.  Law Enforcement reporting is at the discretion of management.  In all likelihood you will be banned from attending future classes and banned from the property boundaries of the range facility.  Consider this admonishment as being informed of charges of criminal trespass.   All is at the discretion of the Range Safety Officer(s), Instructors and/or Managers of the respective range facility.  REFUNDS WILL NOT BE AUTHORIZED.  Other arrangements may be made at management discretion.
